EVENT DETAILS
Join our End of Summer Canine Cruise, our final RDMoC Canine Mercury Cruise of 2019! Boat departs at 10:15, we have to be ready to board by 9:45, since we board at 10 am. Please arrive early enough to park if you drove and potty your pups. It’s a 90 minute cruise around the lake and river. There are human restrooms on board and a doggy restroom, lined with newspaper. There will also be a water bowl on board for them to keep hydrated. Beverages – including water, soda, wine and beer – are available for purchase on board. Please note, no outside alcoholic beverages allowed. No food is sold on the boat, though you are welcome to bring your own snacks or brown-bag meal aboard. This is an open vessel that does not feature a full service bar. Cash is recommended. Cruises happen rain or shine, so there will be no cancellation refunds since we will still have booked & paid for your tickets. ** Final Note: Please exercise your pup before the cruise so they are polite with all guests aboard. We want to be welcomed for future cruises. Please sign our events waiver. We can’t wait to ride the lake with our community. WHERE IS THE CLOSEST PARKING? Laz Parking Garage at 233 N. Michigan (Illinois Center). The parking garage entrance is the first driveway east of Michigan Ave, on the north side of E. South Water Street. This garage is a 1.5 block walk from our dock. Discount rates available for Mercury customers: $14 for 1-3 hours or $15 for 3-4 hours of parking. Simply have your parking ticket stamped at the Mercury Box Office to receive the discount. ARE THERE LIFE VESTS? The vessels are fully equipped with life jackets, none are made specifically for dogs. However, our crew conducts regular drills and we are very proud of our perfect safety record. We ask that guests please keep their dogs leashed and although they are not required, guests are more than welcome to bring their own canine life vest. Comments are closed.
