2021 RECAP

The year 2021 was another tumultuous year for our community. With the rollercoaster of COVID-19 guidelines affecting the Chicagoland area in many different ways, we weren't able to get back into our usual swing of in-person events the way that we all had hoped. However, you pushed through and helped us do some amazing work!

In 2021...

• We raised over $24,000 for 12 different rescue organizations
• That's more than $216,000 since we started in 2017

We loved seeing you at our two Mini Photoshoot sessions. We got together to decorate wreaths. We voted online for our favorite decorated holiday pups. We took a Canine Cruise along the Chicago River. We enjoyed some great weather (and great drinks) with our Yappy Hours. We sold quirky shirts and warm hats. We found some great new local business partners and gave away lots of cool stuff. What a year!

There's no way to know what 2022 will bring. But we are hopeful that, at the very least, it brings peace, safety, and good health to you and your loved ones (both humans and fur-babies alike). We are taking things slowly but are cautiously optimistic that we can safely bring back some events this spring and summer. Stay tuned.
