It has been said that a house is not a home, without paw prints on the floor. As dog parents, we couldn’t agree more. This pandemic has brought to light a more safe, simple way to live. Our days of rushed walks are over. For most of us, ourselves included, it is the time of day we look forward to most. We are all working at home with our favorite, furry co-workers. However, if you are living in a rental that allows dogs, you know there are always hassles. Landlords do not see our four legged friends like we do. If they allow them at all, Landlords always charge us more money, a noisy neighbor complains about the patter of feet or barking, and at the end of the day it causes us to have more anxiety; which then causes our pets more stress.

Another lesson this pandemic has taught us is that where you live matters. Most of us are
working remote. We have traded restaurants for patios. We have traded rooftops for parks. We have adapted; but we also don’t know how long this is going to last. We don’t know when our “normal” lives with resume or we can go to the office. We need to plan & prepare for the
future. When winter comes and the snow starts to fall, we could be back in our homes 90% of the time. The Joel Schaub Mortgage Team and HomeCo want you to love your home.
